Our climate research scientists need your help!  We The People must support unbiased and peer-reviewed research, even if the current American administration attempts to censor the publication and distribution of research resultsUnion of Concerned Scientists is an excellent nonprofit organization that promotes scientific research and the conservation of natural resources.  Their webiste contains a ton of information about all kinds of research and conservation efforts.  Read more about them and what they do here, and then please donate -- you still have time to make a tax-deductible gift for 2017 -- donate here.

North and South Kinsman
Lonesome Lake Trail, Fishin' Jimmy Trail, Kinsman Ridge Trail.
Around 10 miles.
Around 3550 feet of elevation gain.

The first semester of 9th grade is ending and I have a bunch of midterms coming up, so I will let the photos do the talking for this trip report.  I will get back to publishing more detailed  posts later this month, after my exams are over.

Supermoon!  We began our hike at 5:30am.

Heading up...and from here, the photos will have to tell the story.

We will next hike the week of the 18th.  I will then post a trip report after my school semester ends.  Happy holidays!

  1. Good luck on your exams! Nice snowman by the lake! I like those early morning starts, we'd do more of them if we lived closer.

    1. Thank you! We found the snowman when we got there--it was nice to see.
